We developed the Finca Las Chicharras website to clearly and visually present its origin, coffees and the work behind a specialty coffee farm in the mountains of Chiapas, with a bilingual experience designed to communicate its identity to domestic and international customers and buyers.

Finca Las Chicharras is a coffee farm in the Ángel Albino Corzo region of Chiapas, near Jaltenango. It is part of the E-Café Chiapas project and produces specialty coffee at elevations of approximately 1,250 to 1,600 meters above sea level.
For this project, we developed a web experience focused on communicating the farm’s origin, processes and coffee identity more clearly. The website was designed as a bilingual platform in Spanish and English, presenting the farm to both domestic and international audiences.
Our work focused on:
The website’s identity places the landscape, production and coffee at the center. Photography, editorial composition and motion create an experience rooted in the world of specialty coffee.
The farm grows 100% Arabica coffee, including varieties such as Maragogype, Marsellesa and Guacamaya, alongside other varieties found in individual lots. Its production includes washed and natural processes.
Finca Las Chicharras also has a record of recognition within Mexican specialty coffee. In 2018, it placed fifth in the Mexico Cup of Excellence, with a score of 89.60, making it one of the standout coffees of that edition.
The result is a website that presents Finca Las Chicharras through an editorial, international and origin-focused perspective. Visitors, roasters and buyers can explore the available coffees as well as the environment and work behind each lot.
The structure makes it easier to explore coffees by their characteristics, discover projects connected with the farm and understand the relationship between altitude, variety, process and origin.
The bilingual experience also allows Finca Las Chicharras to communicate its history and production beyond Mexico, supporting an operation already involved in specialty coffee production and export from Chiapas.
